The village is surrounded by thick forest. There is a small pond which is nearly 2 kilometers away from the village. The people go by walk to get the water. 250 – 300 families are living in the village.
Most of the people living in this village “Thuggudem” are actually the migrants from the state of Odisha. They have made Thuggudem their home and they are residing in the village from the past 20 years.
Even the tribal communities of “KOYA” & “LAMBADI” are also living here. The literacy rate of this village is very low and the villagers are facing many struggles due to lack of basic essential needs like water and electricity.
The major problem is the need of “DRINKING WATER”. Nearly 250 – 300 families are residing in this beautiful village. These families are daily wage workers. These people don’t have any water facility in their surroundings like pump wells and government water supply.
